Just because you’ve been managing residential rental homes for over 30 years doesn’t mean there isn’t always more and something new to learn. Senior Property Manager and VP of North Atlanta Realty, inc. Doug Wansley, RMP®, just finished an intensive course on all aspect of residential property management conducted by Georgia MLS in Atlanta. A very comprehensive course covering Fair Housing, the Civil Rights Act, property management “best practices”, Georgia Landlord-Tenant Law, marketing and efficiently and professionally managing a portfolio of rental houses for individuals and investors, and much more, Doug will be using this detailed and valuable information in upcoming staff meetings. Education in Property Management never ends; there are always new laws, new technology and unexpected challenges for which professional property managers should prepare.

4/30/09 - After two years of intensive hands-on training in all aspects of residential property management Jennifer Sprague (left) is congratulated by Phyllis Wansley, Broker of North Atlanta Realty, Inc., on being promoted from Leasing Agent to Property Manager. Jennifer assumes full responsibility for her portfolio of clients, properties and tenants. The Management of NAR, Inc., including Doug Wansley, RMP®, Senior Property Manager, believe she will continue to perform her new assignment with the same energy, positive attitude, and tremendous work ethic she has brought to her role as Leasing Agent. We are extremely proud of Jennifer and what she has accomplished.

Jennifer is an Atlanta native and graduat of Georgia Perimeter College with an Associates degree in Business Administration en route to a Bachelors degree in Business Management. Prior to joining North Atlanta Realty, Inc. in 2007 Jennifer sold homes for Keller Williams Community Partners in Cumming, Ga.

Jennifer’s enthusiasm for residential property management shows clearly when asked about her job: “It can be very demanding, but I love the challenge. I hope to grow with the company and to learn everything I can about this exciting field.”
